A superb finely carved and painted carousel panel with a large shield, majestic lions and floral design. The carvings are highly detailed. It is signed on the back that this panel came from the carousel at the Excelsior Amusement Park in Excelsior, MN. The carousel was built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and it opened in May, 1925.
